Who We Are
Delta State Association was established in 2013 and is registered with a patent office in Helsinki, Finland. It is located in the greater Helsinki region of Finland. The association is non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit. Our aims include bringing together people of Delta State origin that are domiciled in Finland in order to strengthen our social-economic and cultural heritage. DSAF already put in place an effective support system for all members. These are among other efforts to further promote proper integration and welfare packages for members. Vital role in promoting societal well-being and addressing diverse needs.
Social-Cultural Integration

What we do
The association organises interactive sections on a regular basis to boost our social-cultural activities, while at the same time encouraging and maintaining regular contact with members. We arrange several events annually to actualise our core objectives and goals. DSAF engages and partakes in numerous projects that create impact on our members and community in Finland. The association also cooperates and partners with other organisations including the Nigerian Embassy, the Nigeria Community in Finland, Moniheli, and Pluralismisaatio

Women wings empowerment
Women Empowerment appears to represent the growing emphasis on empowering women and addressing gender disparities globally. Women Wings work actively towards women’s empowerment through various methods
- Economic Empowerment: focus on enhancing women’s economic resilience. This includes creating job opportunities, mentoring social enterprises, and improving gender-responsive supply chains to uplift women in rural and underserved communities.
- Advocacy for Gender Equity: Organisations are committed to promoting girls’ and women’s rights, often addressing systemic barriers through grassroots partnerships, innovative funding models, and strategic alliances.
